I originally started my about page with…
What does someone write in their ‘About’ section? Should it be interesting, funny, factual, short? Maybe all four? Perhaps just honest would be a good starting point?
Then I waffled a bit about me & I don’t think it was very interesting so I’ve edited it again!
Since starting my journey into the world of photography I have found it frustrating, amusing & challenging but highly rewarding. I get a lot from photography and am never without a camera, whether that be my phone, a compact camera or a DSLR. My current cameras are Canon S100, Canon G5X and Canon 6D.
This blog really started life as a personal learning record for my photography & continues to be a diary for me but I hope you might find something interesting.

Hi Jimmy,
I just realised I hadn’t been to this page, so thought I would discuss something here.
I have had problems with my SLR this week. (It is a Fuji S5 pro, like a Nikon D200). The shutter seems to be cutting off the side of the image, but only in portrait hold. It is a strange glitch, but hardly worth the expense of getting it fixed, as the body is probably only worth about £100, and the Nikon kit lens (28-80) is as cheap as chips. I am thinking of getting a high-end compact next year. I can’t afford the best ones, (X100s etc) so I have been investigating the Fuji X30 (or cheaper X20). It occurred to me that this camera might be the solution to your street photography question, at a reasonable price. Have a look at it.

It has a proper viewfinder as well as the rear screen, and seems to be well-built too. Just a thought.
Have a great Christmas mate, and all the best for 2015. Pete.
Cheers Pete, I will have a quick look now. Sounds like you are going to be busy with visitors.
Have a good christmas and new year.
Thanks for following my blog. I love visiting London whenever i return to England. So much to see and do there. 🙂 Sylvia
I’m looking forward to reading through your posts and will have a look at the ‘WPC’.
There should be a new challenge tomorrow.
